Research and Services

We provide research services to support evidence based programming in the region. We develop policy briefs, monthly humanitarian updates, and thematic research reports on a variety of topics. We work closely with a host of partners to implement humanitarian advocacy strategies and design related communication materials. We provide technical input on gender mainstreaming into development /humanitarian programmes, and review design of activities based on Do No Harm humanitarian principles.

We support local scholars, students, and researchers with pro bono support across research, proposal development, thesis writing, and funding applications for studying abroad.

We provide consultancy and advisory services to organizations, educational establishments, and funding institutes engaged in projects that focus on Chin State and surrounding areas (ie. including Sagaing Division, Northern Rakhine, Mizoram, Nagaland, etc.).

We support foreign scholars, students, or researchers who are planning to spend time in Chin State and surrounding areas for research projects or PhD fieldwork (note: this activity is on hold since 2021)
